Semester Completion Information – Weeks 13 & 14

**12/11 is our last class lab session before final exams week. This class will be used as a full work session to complete assignments, organize your google drive folder and prepare your final portfolio.

**We will meet during final exams week on Monday 12/18 in our classroom :

 

**The Morning Section ARTC-201 – M2 meets – from 8:15am – 10:15 am  

 

**The Afternoon Section ARTC-201 – M1 – from 2:00pm – 4:00 pm 

(section M1 also has the option to present on 12/11 from 2pm – 6pm)

 

Each student will give a 3 – 5 minute presentation of their final portfolio of completed works for their Invisible City.

 

Final Submission of All Class Assignments:

**All assignments are due no later than Monday 12/18 by 6pm**

**Please check my folder in our shared Google Drive folder for the research examples, production file examples, animations and iteration outcomes for all projects / assignments -> all of my example files from our class tutorials live there as well.

Class session video tutorials and recordings are always added to our class Canvas page – these recordings share all of the assignment specifications, tips, tricks, processes and much more! Please review.

****During our classes on 12/4 (& 12/11) –  I will share and publish a full tutorial on how to create the final semester portfolio and save it as a PDF file – please review the video via Canvas.

Assignment #7 – Semester Portfolio –

Include a series of pages for each completed semester project in the final semester Portfolio –  A full demonstration / tutorial was shared to our canvas page on 12/4 – please watch the tutorial for formatting and saving the file as a PDF.

*Submit your Final Portfolio in your folder in our Course Google-Drive no later than 12/18 at 6pm please.

 

***Extra Credit Project***

Logo Brand Icon – Design a brand  / logo for an organizational entity derived from your Invisible City world.

Digital Tools:  (Composite multiple images together in Photoshop+ Illustrator + InDesign + After Effects) Explore and employ knowledge of  layers, masks, blending modes, and adjustment layers. Employ the combination of tools to develop new logo brand icon designs.
